The Southeast Alabama Natural Gas District, Andalusia, Alabama 1986-Present Director of Gas Management (Contract Employee since 2006) 2001-Present · Developed and implemented corporate natural gas purchase and storage asset management strategies, reviewing market fundamentals and technical aspects. · Generated formal hedge management policy and created hedge operation plan, utilizing various hedging tools to implement strategy. · Participated on purchasing and financing team in acquisition of natural gas reserves, including $84 million purchase of interest in 700 natural gas wells. Superintendent of Operations – Dothan Division 1993-1997 · Managed the Dothan Division which included The Southeast Alabama Gas District’s single largest distribution system, Dothan, Alabama, and the company’s greatest concentration of large industrial customers. Supervised transmission and distribution systems operations. Overseeing construction and installation departments as well as division marketing. · Responsible for 100 mile transmission system and four member city distribution systems within the division, equaling one-third of company operations, and directed business office operations in member cities. Managed up to 60 employees, interviewing, hiring, delegating duties, counseling, and evaluating.
